Education philanthropy in Illinois makes up less than 1% of K-12 spending. With your help, we can change this–and provide assistance directly to students who are struggling with resource inequality. A charitable donation to Empower Illinois’ 501(c)(3) operations funds will allow us to activate our mission to expand quality education options for Illinois’ low-income and working-class families.
A charitable gift to Empower Illinois is a great option for those who want to champion education options in Illinois, but do not have Illinois tax liability. Unlike tax credit scholarship donations, gifts to our 501(c)(3) are not eligible for a state tax credit, but may be eligible for a federal deduction.

School Reopening Plan
Upon our return from Winter Break, we are participating in Remote Learning for the first two weeks of school starting Jaunuary 4th. During this time, all students are expected to join their classrooms via Google and use the school issued Chromebook for this purpose. Should any issues or questions come up in regard to hardware problems, please send an email to pop_e_learning@poplvil.org. We will follow up as soon as possible.
Troubleshooting tips can be found in the Chromebook Troubleshooting Guide:
